Manitowoc To Milwaukee
29 January 2018
After announcing the move of its crawler crane operations to its Shady Grove, Pa., operations, the Manitowoc Co. is on the move again, announcing it will relocate its headquarters to Milwaukee, Wis. The move will involve about 50 jobs.
The crane manufacturer is leaving the city for which it’s named in order to have a headquarters that is more accessible for its customers, shareholders and employees, said Barry Pennypacker, president and chief executive officer.
“The state has an impressive roster of global manufacturing businesses with a top-level talent pool, and we are excited about the move of our corporate headquarters,” Pennypacker said in a statement.
The company plans to complete its move to Milwaukee by end of March.
