The new gen-set is specifically engineered for users needing compact, lightweight and easily transported power, the company said, making it suited for construction sites, critical power outages, disaster relief and outdoor events. It features:

  • extended oil change intervals of 500 hours;
  • 110% spill containment of all engine fluids;
  • advanced telematics for timely insights on fuel level, battery voltage and run status;
  • and a weather-resistant, galvanized and powder-coated enclosure.

The gen-set operates at a noise level comparable to a normal conversation, enhancing worker safety and comfort at construction and other work sites.

The XQ20 is available from Cat dealers in North America and Cat Rental Stores throughout the U.S.
