Judging panel announced for Working at Height Awards

The judging panel for this year’s Working at Height Awards, set for Nov. 20 in Nashville, has been confirmed, with five rental and access equipment professionals coming on board to help crown the industry’s best-of-the-best.
The Working at Height Conference & Awards is a brand-new event from Access, Lift & Handlers and the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) geared toward the mobile elevating work platform and access equipment rental industries in North America. It replaces the previous ALH Conference & Awards and IPAF’s Innovate event.
The judges will review and evaluate entries into across the eight Working at Height Awards categories, which include:
- Rental company of the year
- Sustainability in rental award
- Working at Height safety innovation – OEM/supplier
- Working at Height safety innovation – Non-OEM/supplier
- Working at height safety innovation – Rental company
- Technology innovation
- New product award – boom lifts
- New product award – scissor lifts
The deadline for entries is this Friday, Sept. 20. As always, entering your company or product into the awards is free of charge, and companies and individuals are encouraged to enter as many categories as they wish. For more information, or to download the entry form, visit our website here.

The panel for this year’s Working at Heights Awards includes experts from both rental and manufacturing, all of whom are IPAF North American Regional Council members, and they include:
- Brian Clark, director of product support, Sunbelt Rentals
- Don Satterfield, senior manager of EHS, Home Depot Rental
- Ebbe Christensen, president, Ruthmann ReachMaster N.A.
- Pat Witte, vice president of international sales and development, MEC Aerial Work Platforms
- Lindsey Anderson, editor, Access, Lift & Handlers
