Hotstart appoints Santanu Debnath as chief revenue officer

Industry veteran to lead sales, marketing and growth strategy in company’s next phase

Hotstart has named Santanu (Sean) Debnath as chief revenue officer, a newly created position tasked with driving the company’s next phase of growth through integrated revenue strategies.

Debnath brings nearly 30 years of industrial manufacturing experience to the Spokane, Washington-based thermal management company, with a career spanning leadership roles in sales, marketing, product management and customer service. He began his career as a hands-on scientist before moving into commercial leadership, and has held president, CRO, CCO, vice president and director positions at Selecor, Intellihot, Viega, Kaydon Corp., Rexnord and Thermo Fisher Scientific.

Debnath said he plans to spend the remainder of 2025 meeting with Hotstart’s global team and key customers to gather market insight that will shape the company’s long-term growth strategy.

Hotstart has been developing engine heating solutions for more than 80 years, selling over one million electric resistance heaters to standby generator OEMs including Caterpillar, Cummins, Kohler, Generac and MTU. Its products are designed to maintain optimal engine temperatures for reliable starts in critical power applications.
