REE Automotive has named two new dealers which will market Powered by REE electric vehicles to customers looking to electrify their commercial fleets.

Joining Pritchard EV, a subsidiary of Pritchard Companies, and Tom’s Truck Center, are Industrial Power & Truck Equipment and New England Truck Solutions.

REE will provide training to these dealers in order to certify technicians working on the vehicles. In addition, REE has made an agreement with Mitsubishi HC Capital America to provide financing.

“We’ve set 2023 as a year to strongly grow our market share in the US,” said Daniel Barel, co-founder and CEO of REE Automotive. “As part of our go-to-market strategy and getting REE-powered vehicles into the hands of fleet owners, we recognize the importance of a dealer/fleet relationship, especially around maintenance and support and are on our way to building out a nationwide network of authorized dealers.”

Powered by REE EVs are based on the company’s P7 platform. With box truck models ranging from Class 3 to 5, the vehicles have an approximate range of 200 miles (320 km). With a low step-in height, maximum vehicle payload capacity is 8000 lb (approx. 3600 kg).

REE vehicles feature ‘x-by-wire’ technology, which includes four-wheel steering, all-wheel drive with torque vectoring, adaptive regenerative braking, creep control and hill start assist.

Initial deliveries of Powered by REE vehicles are expected to take place in Q4 this year.
