APSCO acquires hydraulic cooler supplier

APSCO LLC, the Tulsa, Okla., manufacturer of hydraulic and pneumatic products for the mobile equipment and transportation industries, announced it has acquired STAC Inc. No financial details were provided.
STAC’s Thermaflow coolers are used for a range of hydraulic and tank cooling applications in heavy-duty trucks.
Headquartered in St. Paul, Minn., STAC supplies hydraulic coolers and systems to the transportation and mobile equipment industry.
“We are excited about the combination of our organizations’ capabilities, products and expertise,” said Chris Wunsch, vice president, Sales & Marketing at APSCO. “The synergies created by our combined organization will tremendously benefit the market and customers of both organizations.”
Established in 1983, one of STAC’s signature products is its Thermaflow range of hydraulic coolers, which are designed to fit a broad range of vehicle types, including two patented models for the propane bobtail industry.
