Basler Promotes Two

Basler Electric Co. has announced the promotions of Ken Rhodes to executive vice president and Tom Harnetiaux to vice president of sales and marketing.
Rhodes joined Basler Electric in 1983, holding various positions in the engineering and purchasing departments. In 2006, he held the position of director of supply chain before being promoted to sales manager for the Power Systems Group. A year later, he became the director of sales for all
product groups. In 2011, Rhodes was promoted to vice president of sales. In his new role, as executive vice president, he will oversee the sales, marketing, engineering, and manufacturing departments. He will also manage E2 Power Systems, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Basler, as well as Basler’s facilities in Suzhou, China and Singapore.
Harnetiaux joined Basler Electric in 2011 as a market segment manager for Power Generation. Before joining Basler, Tom was senior marketing analyst with a display and scoreboard solutions manufacturer. In 2014, he was promoted to director of global sales and then to vice president of marketing in early 2018. As vice president of sales and marketing, he is responsible for developing and growing Basler’s presence in the worldwide marketplace.
