Battery storage units introduced by Aggreko

Aggreko in North America has launched 30 kVA and 60 kVA battery storage generators.

The two sets offer outputs of 30 kVA (65 kWh) and 60 kVA (120 kWh) and are described as “all-in-one solutions that can be easily plugged into an existing power system”.

Charging can be completed in as little as three hours, and the containerised units are delivered with inverters, HVAC, fire protection, and auxiliary components.

The 60 kVA unit is 2.25 m long, 1.3 m wide and 2.06 m high and weighs 2.7 tonnes.

Aggreko said the storage units would be suitable for a range of applications, including events, data centres, refineries and renewable projects.

The battery storage units form part of Aggreko’s energy transition efforts. It is introducing updated models of existing products and launching new ones for the clean energy transition.

Along with the 30 kVA and 60 kVA batteries, its ‘Greener Upgrades’ range includes Tier 4F diesel generators and the Fuel Flex 450 kW natural gas generator.
