27 September 2019

Clinkenbeard, a supplier that offers rapid production of complex metal castings and machined parts, has relocated to a 40,000 sq.ft. facility in South Beloit, Ill.

Located in Rockford, Ill., since its inception in 1966, the move nearly doubled the company’s square footage with additional acreage available for future expansion. In addition to upgrading its business systems and infrastructure, the company purchased a Mori Lathe with milling capability and a DMG DMU65 five axis milling machine to serve its growing aerospace and defense customer base.

“Part of Clinkenbeard’s strategic plan is smart growth via sector specific market expansion,” said Matt Gustafson, general manager, Clinkenbeard. “We will continue to add high level talent to complement our outstanding workforce. The investments made in this facility upgrade along with new machining equipment and information systems put Clinkenbeard in excellent position to support our customer base and achieve our goals.”

The company said it has the internal resources and engineering expertise to tackle large, complex problems with concurrent manufacturing engineering support. The company is AS9100 / ISO 9001:2008 and ITAR compliant.
