CNH to sell Norcar compact loaders

CNH Construction has agreed a cooperation agreement with Oy Norcar Ab, the Finnish manufacturer of compact loaders, to sell the loaders under its Case and New Holland Construction brands.

Norcar’s compact and sub-compact loaders will be integrated into CNH’s product range, adding to its existing lineup in the under-4 tonne operating weight segment.

The newly branded machines will be shown later this year and will be available to European dealers in the first quarter of next year.

KHL Group has asked CNH if the machines will also be available outside of Europe, and what impact the new deal will have - if any - on CNH’s 2023 agreement with Tobroco-Giant covering North America.

Loaders in the 1-2 tonne class

Norcar, which is based in Nykarleby on the west coast of Finland, has been producing compact wheel loaders since 1998.

Its range of nine machines are in the 1 to 2 tonne operating weight sizes. The loaders are used in construction, agriculture, groundcare, municipalities and material handling.

Humayun Chishti, CNH Construction president, said the agreement would allow it to meet customer needs in the smaller compact and sub-compact segments that it doesn’t fully cover.
