ABB Turbocharging’s focus on remote, data-driven services that offer an irrefutable value proposition has been heightened during the pandemic. Remote tools that allow access to genuine insights from fleets wherever and whenever you need them have allowed businesses to thrive and make informed decisions in the most extreme circumstances.
We have continued to develop our well-established engine diagnostic and advisory platform Tekomar XPERT, adding functions for continuous performance evaluation and collaborating with Kongsberg Digital to make digital performance monitoring ever more accessible for ship operators. We have also launched new data-driven services, including our new turbocharger service concept Turbo MarineCare. This relies on monitoring data to allows us to take responsibility for customers’ maintenance requirements both at sea and in drydock – helping to flatten operating costs, increase financial predictability and improve ease of doing business.
