Chen, who previously served as the vice president of Editron, will be joining the Power Solutions Leadership Team and will report directly to Eric Alström, the president of Danfoss Power Solutions.

Chen will be responsible for strengthening Danfoss Power Solutions’ on- and off-highway electrification business. He will lead the two Editron business units — eMotor & Inverter Solutions and Power Charging Solutions — as well as all functional areas, including sales development and portfolio; R&D and technology; safety, environment, health, and quality; finance; human resources; procurement; supply chain; and operational excellence.

Chen brings over 15 years of experience in electrification, electronics, automotive, and mobile off-highway applications to his new role, along with a successful track record in leading fast-growing businesses.

“The on- and off-highway industries are at a transformative moment, with electrification quickly progressing from a feasible option to a superior choice for clean motive power,” Chen said.
