Deutz posts positive numbers through Q3 2026
05 November 2026
German power specialist Deutz has released a report covering financial performance through third quarter 2026.
Over the nine months, revenue has increased by about 11% to €1.67 billion. New orders have increased by slightly more than 30% to about €1.96 billion (Q1-Q3 2025: €1.50 billion).

New orders by division saw Deutz Engines up €168 million, Deutz Energy up €226 million and Deutz Services up €58 million.
Adjusted EBIT has increased by close to 36% to €118 million based on an improved margin that increased from 5.8% to 7.1%.
“Once again, we generated double-digit rises in new orders, revenue, and earnings and significantly increased our profitability amid market conditions that remain challenging,” commented Sebastian Schulte, Deutz CEO.
The continuing upwards trajectory is said to be based on organic growth, operational advances and strategic acquisitions, which have included the purchase of military vehicle manufacturer FFG Flensburger Fahrzeugbau Gesellschaft.
The most expensive purchase in the company’s history, FFG is set to become an integral pillar of group, alongside Energy, Engines and NewTech divisions. All are set to benefit from the buyout, as Deutz looks to develop new vehicle powertrain solutions.
Looking towards the end of the year, Deutz is forecasting it will achieve annual revenue of between €2.3 and €2.5 billion.
Together with the latest figures, Deutz announced that the contract of Oliver Neu, CFO since 2024, had been extended to 2032.
“I am delighted with the confidence shown in me, and I am of course very pleased to continue playing an active role in the company’s transformation as a member of the Board of Management,” said Neu.
“Together we will take Deutz to the next level while maintaining our long-term profitability, ensuring we are well equipped for global competition, and creating sufficient financial headroom for ongoing investment in our growth.”
