Diesel Forward buys Everglades Diesel Injection

In its continuing effort to expand its product and service network offerings, Diesel Forward said it has reached agreement to purchase Everglades Diesel Injection Service, Inc., Fort Lauderdale, Fla. No financial details were provided.

Everglades Diesel Injection Service Diesel Forward announced it has reached an agreement to buy Everglades Diesel Injection Service, Inc.

The acquisition is intended to expand Diesel Forward’s distribution footprint and product range in marine and large bore diesel fuel and air systems.

Everglades Diesel has been servicing marine fuel system and turbochargers in South Florida and Caribbean region for more than 55 years and the was the second Central Distributor for Bosch in North America. It is an authorized repair center for Bosch, Zexel, Alliant Power, Yanmar, Delphi, and Denso and can also service Garrett, BorgWarner, Schwitzer, and Holset products.

The Everglades team will be joining the Diesel Forward family and will continue to operate under the leadership of Nick Cibants, Diesel Forward said. Cibants, who has more than 40 years of marine experience, will assume the role of general manager for the region and for the marine product line.

Headquartered in Winsor, Wis., Diesel Forward, Inc., is a national provider of aftermarket diesel engine fuel systems and technical components for light-, medium- and heavy-duty vehicles and off-highway equipment. The company and its Alliant Power brand distribute aftermarket new and remanufactured parts through its nationwide Alliant Power network of over 550 service dealers. Diesel Forward is also the distributor of OEM products to the aftermarket, including its national fleet accounts, through company-owned warehouses across four U.S. time zones.
