The filters use Atmus’ NanoNet media to help extend filter service intervals for more than 1,000 hours when coupled with appropriate extended service maintenance practices and protocols. The media is said to provide 4.7x greater protection of fuel injection equipment under real-world conditions compared to conventional media.

In addition, Fleetguard fuel/water separators are designed to offer up to 95% water removal. NanoNet media enables improved efficiency when tested under vibration, showing an enhancement of approximately 15 to 20 percentage points, the company stated. Contaminant holding capacities are 2.5x greater than conventional media, it added.
