Former Skyjack president to lead Makinex USA

Former Skyjack president Brad Boehler has joined Australian OEM Makinex to lead its U.S. division as president.

Boehler, who brings more than 25 years of industry experience to the role, assumes leadership of Makinex USA after serving three years as president and CEO of Morbark, a position he left in March this year.

He is also an advisor to technology company Vita Inclinata Technologies.

During his career, Boehler has held numerous senior positions, including group vice president at Alamo Group and vice chair for the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM).

He has also served on the boards of companies such as Hy-Brid Lifts and Serious Labs and was president of Skyjack for eight years until 2019.

In his new role, Boehler will oversee the North American operations of Makinex at a time of significant growth for the company.

Makinex, led by co-founder and CEO Rory Kennard, first entered the North American market in 2013.

The company relocated its headquarters from Torrance, California, to a new facility in the Dallas-Fort Worth area in 2022, following several years of substantial growth.

Earlier this year, at the ARA Show in New Orleans, Makinex announced its exclusive distribution partnership with Danish manufacturer HG, bringing mini dumpers to the North American market. This deal follows a similar collaboration between Makinex and HG in Australia.
