Himoinsa appoints director of power solutions

Himoinsa has appointed Jesús Santos as director of its power solutions business unit.

Santos brings more than 20 years’ experience in the power generation sector to the role and is the former business development manager for Cummins.

In his most recent position he was the senior manager for sales at Rolls Royce. 

He will be responsible for global activities of the power solutions division and will work with directors of Asia, EMEA and the Americas to define a growth strategy for each region.

Himoinsa, which is a subsidiary of Yanmar, said the appointment marks the next step in its strategic growth plan for its power solutions division and reaffirms its commitment to becoming a market leader in power generation solutions for special projects.

It added that it will now look to develop new products and solutions in the segment and will open a new production centre.
