Hoerbiger Acquires Aftermarket Rights To Continental Controls Corp. Product Line

Hoerbiger Engine Division has acquired the exclusive global aftermarket rights for the Continental Controls Corp. reciprocating gas engine product line.

The acquisition, effective March 1, means the natural gas fueled engine emissions control and flow monitoring products currently manufactured by Continental Controls Corp.—including the ECV5 air/fuel ratio control system, GV1 electronic control valve, FM50 fuel flow meter, and venturi carburetor inserts—will now be available exclusively through the network of Hoerbiger’s Altronic distribution partners. This transfer of responsibilities is inclusive of all aftermarket sales, service, and technical support for these important products, the company said.

Lepley. “This provides expanded access for these well-respected products through the same premium Distributor network that carries and supports all of the Altronic end-user products in the global marketplace.”

San Diego-based Continental Controls Corp. develops fuel control technology for both gas turbines and gas reciprocating engines. Since its founding in 1968, Continental Controls said its products have been used on many gas-powered applications around the globe.

Altronic, Girard, Ohio, serves as the lead plant for the Hoerbiger Engine Division.
