JCB Grows North American Engine Footprint
03 September 2019
JCB Power Systems has appointed Montreal-based Marindustriel as OEM distributor for Eastern Canada. The move follows a strong focus on distribution coverage in Canada and the whole of North America for the rapidly growing engine manufacturer and adds a new engine range to the MarIndustriel product portfolio, said JCB.
Founded in 1991, Marindustriel has become a specialist in the distribution of industrial engine power units and generator sets for mobile and stationary applications; a fit for the JCB engine range which, JCB said, is sold to an increasing number of OEM’s globally. Marindustriel’s sales operation is supported by an in-house engineering department offering installation solutions, a service department with a round-the-clock emergency service and a comprehensive parts stocking warehouse.
In addition to a head office in Montreal, Marindustriel has outlets in Ontario and Dartmouth. Eric Nadeau, president, believes there is huge scope for the full range of JCB power solutions, but in particular the JCB Ecomax Tier 4 solution;
“JCB’s engine range is purpose-designed for the off-highway sector and is a proven solution globally; not least because they are used in the majority of their own machines,” he said.
Nick Grez, Engine Sales & business development manager at JCB Power Systems, has been working to complete the distribution network for JCB’s engine business in North America and this latest appointment follows a number of appointments throughout the United States and Canada over the last twelve months.
