JLG introduces Ausa RTs to North America

JLG has introduced its Ausa all-terrain compact equipment lineup for North America, which includes 12 wheeled dumpers and five rough-terrain forklifts.

Mirco Negri, senior product manager, JLG, said “These models are ideal for crews working on residential, municipal, golf course, civil and road construction projects, plus groundskeepers and trade professionals needing help with the transportation and handling of industrial and agricultural materials.”

The company, which acquired Spain-based Ausa in September 2024, said it would be transitioning the models to the North American market with updated decaling and nomenclature to reflect the brand and imperial specifications throughout this year. 

Dumper introductions 

Among the newly-introduced models are the Ausa ED33. Formerly the D151AEG electric dumper, it has a 3,300lb load capacity and is designed to operate with minimal noise and feature electronically controlled lithium-ion battery packs for extended operating ranges without the need for frequent recharging.

The compact articulated dumper range spans multiple payload classes, supporting applications from municipal work, like concrete distribution and landscaping to large-scale earthmoving projects and offer permanent four-wheel drive. Reversible dumper models enhance operator visibility by allowing the cab to rotate 180º.

They include two models with 3,300lb load capacities, four models with 4,400 - 9,900lb capacites, three models with 13,200 - 22,000lb capacities, while there are also a pair of reversible models with 13,200 - 22,000lb capacities. 

Rough terrain forklifts

Also on display will be Ausa’s rough terrain forklifts, available in a wide range of payload capacities and designed to support material handling needs in construction, agriculture and municipal operations. There are four models across 3,000lb - 11,000lb capacity, which are suitable for applications from labour-intensive farm work and small-scale municipal works at the lower end to large-scale work, especially in the construction sector for moving large materials at the high capacity end.
