10 December 2018

John Deere Power Systems has announced its second executive change in one week with the announcement that Pierre Guyot has been named senior vice president for John Deere Power Systems, effective January 1.

Earlier Deere had announced that Jim Field, president of its Construction & Forestry division, will assume additional responsibility for the John Deere Power Systems organization.

The company said that changes follows a realignment of leadership responsibilities at Deere in response to the planned retirement of Jean Gilles, senior vice president of power systems, worldwide parts services, advanced technology and engineering, and global supply management and logistics on January 11th.

Guyot will lead the Power Systems division and oversee operations of the company’s electronic solutions business.  He joined John Deere in 1998 and has since held various leadership positions in manufacturing and supply management and logistics.  He also led the engine operations in Europe.
