Kleemann unveils first model in new mobile crusher range
22 August 2023
Kleemann has unveiled a new mobile impact crusher - the first model of an entirely new equipment range that is said to provide high operational efficiency in a compact, easy-to-transport package.
The new Mobirex MR 100(i) NEO, which is also available in the zero-emissions, electric powered NEOe version, is designed for various demolition and recycling applications and can process materials ranging from concrete, rubble and asphalt to soft to medium-hard natural stone.
Set to be introduced in 2024 via staggered launches in Europe and in North America, the MR 100(i) NEO incorporates a crushing unit that has a 4-ledged rotor with a large impact range.
While details of the NEO and NEOe’s operating weight and feed quantities have not yet been disclosed, Kleemann said: “Thanks to their compact dimensions and a low transport weight, the Mobirex MR 100(i) NEO/NEOe can be used flexibly, quickly and in a very wide variety of applications. Operation in tight spaces on work sites or in frequently changing places of work is easily possible.”
Key features of the model are its SPECTIVE operating system, which allows “simple and intuitive” operation, and the SPECTIVE CONNECT telematics system.
According the Kleemann, SPECTIVE CONNECT enables operators to access machine data, including key consumption values and fill levels, via their smartphone or tablet. It also provides “detailed troubleshooting aids to assist with service and maintenance”.
The manufacturer added: “A unique feature in this machine class is the fully automatic crusher gap adjustment and zero-point determination. Zero-point determination compensates for wear during crusher start and a homogeneous crushing product is retained.”
Both the Mobirex MR 100(i) NEO and NEOe will be available with an optional single-deck secondary screening unit that enables it to produce a classified final grain size, and an optional wind sifter.
