Komplet launches its first ever impact crusher
31 January 2024
Italian machinery manufacturer Komplet has expanded its product offering, with the introduction of its first ever impact crusher for the construction and demolition (c&d) waste recycling sector.
The K-IC 70 impact crusher made its regional debut at the World of Concrete Exhibition, which recently took place in Las Vegas, United States.
The 13-tonne machine can handle rubble, asphalt and stones, and offers an output of up to 80 tph. With fuel efficiency and low operational costs a key factor in its design, the K-IC 70 is fitted with a Stage V/Tier 4 Final diesel engine from Deutz, that provides a power output of 75 kW and “ultra low consumption”.
Komplet said: “The focus today is on cost and environmental awareness, availability, versatility and, above all, the quality of the end-product to be achieved.
“The Komplet plants crush stone so efficiently that the grain shape, grain size distribution and cleanness comply with the strict standards for concrete and asphalt aggregates.”
The manufacturer, which revealed that a large percentage of its machines are used in recycling applications, said the addition of the K-IC 70 strengthens its ability to offer products that help reduce environmental impacts.
Alan Canestrari, Sales Manager at Komplet, said: “We are excited to launch the first Komplet impact crusher, which serves to diversify our market in order to cover more segments in the recycling world.
“All this to raise our business level and make the brand known also in the asphalt and the hardest rocks and minerals market.”
Other key features of the new machine include its compact design. The K-IC 60 offers working dimensions of 8.5 m (27.9 ft) in length, 2.6 m (8.5 ft) in height and 2.3 (7.2 ft), which allow it to work on sites where space is limited.
A transport length of just 5.4 m (17.4 ft) also makes it small enough to be transported via a shipping container.
