Kubota Canada To Build New Facility

Kubota Canada Ltd. (KCL) announced it will move to a new facility in Pickering, Ontario, Canada, by the end of 2019. The location will be home to its head office and warehouse operations.
“In Canada, the construction, agriculture, commercial and residential sectors are all highly competitive markets, which gives us the motivation to strengthen our leadership among Canadian customers and dealers,” said Bob Hickey, president of KCL. “It had become obvious that we needed a new state-of-the-art facility to ensure we could live up to our commitments to meet the increasing needs of our growing customer base.”
Construction is expected to begin during the fall of 2018. The new facility with have a surface area of 565,500 sq.ft. with ample room to expand in the future. It represents an investment of $67 million (Canadian) for the land and building.
KCL markets and distributes Kubota-manufactured equipment, including tractors, implements and construction equipment. It has operated from Markham, Ontario, since 1975.
