Marelli Motori launches MJRM 710 marine generator

Marelli Motori has introduced its new MJRM 710 generator for marine applications.
The new gen set is intended for a broad range of applications, including RO PAX (roll-on, roll-off with passenger cabins) ferries. It can act as an auxiliary, shaft or variable-speed generator, or deliver hybrid support.
The MJRM 710 has an output of 3,640 kVA. The MJRM range includes low- and medium-voltage models which can deliver up to 12,000 kVA with a frequency of 50/60 Hz.
Ambient operating temperature ranges from 0 to 60ºC and water temps up to 40 ºC.
The models are compliant with IEC 60034-1, BS 4999-5000 and NEMA MG 1.32 standards.
The company says the new launch features high-quality materials and robust construction intended to deliver durability and sustainability over a long working life.
Marelli Motori is part of the Power Solutions division of UK-based Langley Holdings, together with Bergen Engines (Norway), Piller Power Systems (Germany) and GKN Hydrogen (Italy).
