HYDAC Software has launched its ‘Machine Application Tool Chain’ or MATCH software suite. The new system is said to support development of all software requirements across the full product lifecycle of off-highway machinery.

The TÜV-certified solution allows rapid realisation of various machine functions, ranging from machine control through to safety systems. It also allows redesigns that can then be applied to existing machines. According to the company, MATCH can deliver complete software packages in 50% of the time of standard systems.

Development of machine software is supported by a suite of related tools, including the PDT (Product Definition Tool), TSE (Test and Simulation Environment) and MST (Machine Service Tool). These draw from a set of library modules, known as MATCH Core, which can then be joined to create a machine control system.

TTControl, a joint venture between HYDAC International and TTTech, offers hardware which has native support for the MATCH system, including ECUs, interfaces and telematics.

The ECUs from TTControl incorporate a range of supporting features, including a standardised programming interface and a C-based software for programming the embedded controllers.

Additionally, MATCH offers a library of display visualisation solutions, while also enabling remote access for receipt of telematics data via CAN, WLAN or through standard mobile communication interfaces.

There are six modular software packages in MATCH, each designed to build on the preceding pack. Each can be extended with the addition of related software tools and tool add ons.

Packages cover development, testing, machine, field service, sales partners and production.
