Micro Pressure Sensor

Premium Content

24 August 2019

AVL List introduced the GH01D miniaturized pressure sensor for combustion analysis in applications with little available space and access issues. It is a size M3.5 sensor with M2 cable connector, a very slim contour, and a miniaturized but robust design for rough application conditions.

The GH01D is ideal for mounting bores with very limited mounting space, but its small size does include a number of accurate features, as AVL’s proprietary Double Shell design and the thermally optimized piezoelectric crystal elements that decouple from negative influences of mechanical stresses which can occur due to the mounting of the fuel pressure sensor into the engine. Also, the sensor features an improved membrane material and geometry with a maximum diameter of 3.5 mm
