New chair for Digitalization strategy group

Schneiter of WinGD takes over from Lehtovaara of ABB
The CIMAC Strategy Group Digitalization has a new chair: Dominik Schneiter, WinGD, Winterthur, Switzerland, is taking over from Eero Lehtovaara, ABB, Helsinki, Finland, who has chaired the group since its founding in 2020. Lehtovaara is the designated Vice President Digitalization in the CIMAC Board.
Currently, the focus of the group is on the topic “Ship as a Data Eco System.” A white paper on this will be completed shortly and presented in Busan during the CIMAC Congress. In addition, even greater efforts are being made to transport the important topics in the direction of Asia and to motivate in particular members from Singapore, Korea, Japan and China to participate actively in the group.
