New Deutz Business Development Manager

Shane Nugent has been named as  Deutz Corp.’s newest business development manager. Nugent will be responsible for developing and maintaining sales of new Deutz engines, Xchange remanufactured engines and genuine Deutz parts in the mining, construction, rental and ground support equipment (GSE) industries.

Nugent will be tasked with discovering new OEM opportunities and working with existing Deutz OEM customers and end users, with a focus on the mining and construction industries. His sales territory includes the U.S. and Canada, as well as some parts of Latin America where the mining industry is more prevalent.

Nugent comes to Deutz from his previous position as a sales manager at H-E Parts International, a division of Hitachi Construction. He is a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science in building science and construction engineering and estimating.
