New hybrids from Skyjack

Skyjack is expanding its electric E-Boom range launched last year with the first hybrid RT boom models in the series.

Available with 51ft (15.7m) and 66ft (20.1m) working heights and suitable for indoor and outdoor use, the articulating SJ45 AJHE + and SJ60 AJHE + models include the design features seen on the full electric models Skyjack. The new machines offer three modes of operation with electric, automatic and manual.

Attendees at Bauma will be able to see the SJ45 AJHE + for themselves at Skyjack’s booth.

It will join a fully electric version from the company’s AJ E-Booms offerings, the SJ45 AJE + and the SJ60 AJE +. They support more than a typical full day’s use of machine operation in a single charge. The all-electric axle-based drive is designed for maximum traction, while AC electric traction and pump motors deliver a high level of torque. The SJ60 AJE + will be on site at Bauma.

Skyjack’s E-Drive scissor line will make their European show debut at the show. The electric range is designed to give users more, with improved efficiency, controllability, and torque. The drive system provides a step up in duty cycles and fully proportional controls.

The SJ3219 E, SJ3226 E and SJ4740 E will be at the show to represent the range. In addition to the E-Drive scissors.

Skyjack E-Drive scissors introduced to global markets Scissor line now available in Europe, Australian and New Zealand
