15 April 2025
Yanmar Compact Equipment has appointed a new president of its North American region.
Anna Christine Sgro took up the role this week (14 April) and will focus on enhancing organisational integration, improving financial performance and driving product and service development.

Sgro’s most recent role was as president of Reesink Canada Holdings, where she led strategic growth initiatives in the agriculture, construction, and complementary equipment sectors.
Earlier in her career, she worked for Volvo Financial Services, Volvo Construction Equipment, Strongco Equipment, and Ritchie Bros. She also led the Global Caterpillar Alliance.
Sgro said Yanmar CE, whose North American base is in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, would continue to focus on delivering value to its customers and dealers.
José Cuadrado, global CEO of Yanmar Compact Equipment, added: “North America is a vital driver of our global business, and I am confident that under Anna’s leadership, Yanmar CE will have a positive catalyst for change, supporting the interests of customers, dealers, suppliers, employees and the wider community.”
