Romeo Power, Paccar announce battery agreement

Romeo Power, Inc., the Los Angeles-based supplier of electrification systems and technologies said it has entered into a supply agreement to provide battery packs, modules and battery management systems (BMS) for Paccar’s battery electric vehicles (BEVs). No financial details were provided.

Peterbilt Model 520 EV Romeo Power has announced a supply agreement through which it will supply battery technology for Peterbilt’s electric vechicles, including the Model 520EV.

Under the agreement, Romeo Power will be a battery supplier for Peterbilt 579 and 520 BEVs in the United States and Canada through 2025. The start of production is anticipated to begin after 2021.
