SulNOx Group adds new sales organization

USA-based Steel Environmental will promote products in global shipping markets, land transportation

British fuel tech company SulNOx Group Plc said it has strengthened its presence in North America with the appointment of a new sales organization.

SulNOx Group has signed a deal with USA-based Steele Environmental, an independent sales organization to promote SulNOx products in global shipping markets and commercial land-based transportation across North America.

The Steele Environmental team has been working with the shipping industry to help identify solutions in advance of Carbon Intensity Indicator (CII) regulations coming into force in January 2023, where ship operators will be required to reduce fuel consumption and their environmental impact year-on-year.

“After months of reviewing alternative solutions, our team is clear that SulNOx stands head and shoulders above any other solutions capable of having significant and immediate impact in reducing fuel consumption, emissions and pollution from fossil and biofuels,” said Larry Parsons, CEO of Steele Environmental. “It is exciting to see the amazing test results and adoption of SulNOx products in the marketplace and we have numerous transportation customers lined up to integrate SulNOx’s solutions in their fleets. We are proud to be chosen as a key distributor for Maritime and North American vehicle fleets.”

London-based SulNOx Group specializes in providing responsible solutions towards decarbonization of liquid hydrocarbon fuels. Through extensive real-world road tests, its all-natural SulNOxEco Fuel Conditioners have been proven to reduce fuel consumption around 10% representing significant reductions in greenhouse gases, the company said. The technology also reduces the production of particulate matter PM10 and PM2.5. In tests, its products have been shown to reduce PM2.5 by over 60%.

SulNOx Group will be presenting its solutions to the shipping sector later this month at the Maritime Decarbonization Conference in Singapore on November 29 and 30. The event is a global hub for developing and promoting environmental solutions in the maritime sector.

“We have reached a crucial point in the climate emergency where more must be tangibly delivered,” said Nawaz Haq, executive director of SulNOx Group. “With the lack of viable, cleaner alternatives in the short- to medium-term, it is imperative that industries, such as shipping and transportation, take immediate measures to reduce their environmental impact from fossil fuels.

“Given the scale of fuel consumption of their client base, and how opportunities are already progressing, we are very excited to have Steele Environmental join our global network of ISOs to deploy our products from North America to make a material impact in addressing climate change.”
