Sundyne names VP of product line management

Al-Labadi joins company from Cognex

Sundyne, a global leader in the design and manufacture of mission-critical pumps and compressors, said Khaled (Kal) Al-Labadi has joined the company as vice president of Product Line Management. In this role, he will lead Sundyne’s Product Line Managers to accelerate growth and help to meet the evolving needs of Sundyne’s customers.

Al-Labadi comes to Sundyne from Cognex Corp., where he served as director of product marketing for their Electronics Solutions business. Prior to Cognex, Al-Labadi held several sales and marketing leadership roles for Fortive Corp’s (formerly Danaher) fluid sensing and motion control businesses. He has also held several operations leadership roles for Eaton’s Power Transmission and Distribution businesses.

Throughout his career, Al-Labadi has developed expertise in product & market development, business transformation, operations & supply chain management and lean/Six Sigma. He earned an MBA from the University of Connecticut, a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University, and he has completed numerous educational programs at Harvard Business School.

Kal will work from Sundyne’s global headquarters in Arvada Colorado, and he will report directly to Zappone.
