Teletrac Navman launches energy management hub

Telematics specialist Teletrac Navman has launched a new solution to help businesses manage energy usage across mixed fleets.

Energy Hub, which is an add-on to its TN360 fleet management platform, collects energy data from a variety of sources, including battery status and fuel card transactions, to give managers a single picture of fleet availability and energy use.

Users can set alerts for overcharging, unusual fuel transactions or inefficient charging behaviour. It will also monitor charging across a range of sources, including home, depot and public networks.

Energy Hub, which is available worldwide with TN360, will provide a dashboard giving fleet-wide information on into energy consumption, transaction volumes, cost per kilowatt hour and overall spend.

New appointment

Meanwhile, the company has appointed Pankaj Sharma as vice president of product management. Sharma has more than 15 years of experience in SaaS, AI, machine learning, and platform businesses.

He joins Teletrac Navman from Platform Science (Trimble Telematics), where he served as vice president of product management and led the launch of AI-powered analytics and safety solutions.

He has also held senior product development roles at Verra Mobility, Michelin Connected Fleet and Verizon Connect.
