Venice hosts Boat Show
04 June 2021
The Venice Boat Show (Venice, Italy) is in full swing.
Taking place from May 29 to June 6, the second edition of the Boat Show in the Venice lagoon hosts 160 exhibitors in 50 000 m2 of water basin and 6 000 m2 of pavilions; there is an area devoted to sailing plus a strong focus on Full Electric technology.
The claim of the show this year is “The art of shipbuilding is back home” underlining the intention of the organizers to bring life back to Venice, the lagoon city.
On display are more than 200 boats including power boats, yachts, sail boats and eco-sustainable vessels. About 100 exhibitors are companies from nautical ancillary and accessory product sectors. Among them Diesel Progress International has met suppliers such as Transfluid, Bimotor, AS Labruna, PMP, and others.
In the water basin visitors can enjoy quite a few engine-powered and hybrid boats: the Ferretti 1000, the largest yacht ever built by Ferretti Yachts; the 30-meter AB 100 by AB Yachts; the new Magellano 25 by Azimut Benetti Group; and the hybrid cruisers Greenline 45Fly and Greenline 48Fly by Greenline Yachts.
The show is completed by a number of conferences and some side events among which the first Full Electric Regatta among electric-powered boats called E-REGATTA 2021
