The event, held at the company’s production and development site near Linz from 19-24 September, included demonstrations of new production machines as well as concepts under development.
Among the launches was the EW135 wheeled excavator, which moves Wacker Neuson into the 13- to 15-tonne class.
The machine has a permanently mounted articulated boom designed to increase stability and lifting capacity, as well as intelligent hydraulics and MiC 4.0 compatibility for integrating attachments.
Wacker Neuson also demonstrated its recently launched WL750p and WL950p wheeled loaders.
The machines include assistance systems such as automatic bucket return and lift-height limiting, while travel speeds of up to 40km/h are available. They also feature the company’s Power Drive and load-sensing hydraulic systems.
Alongside production models, Wacker Neuson showed concepts covering remote-controlled and autonomous machines, as well as virtual development and prototype construction.

North America focus
In an interview with Construction Briefing Alexander Greschner, chief sales officer of Wacker Neuson Group revealed the company’s fastest growing region.
“If we go by continent or region, North America is, for us this year, the fastest growing. This is unexpected because we thought with the tariffs, we are exposed to more difficulties.”
Around 20% of the company’s sales currently come from North America. Greschner said that next year the figure would be higher and revealed what the OEM percent the OEM was targeting by 2030.
“I would say if we get close to 30% that would be the target and it’s also reasonable. We can see the growth path to get there. That doesn’t mean we want to slow down Europe; we just want to continue to grow faster in North America.
“Beside these two regions, we are also now coming to a point where we can start entering more into emerging markets.”
The full interview with Alexander Greschner will appear in an upcoming issue of International Construction magazine.
