XCMG enters demolition robot market

Chinese construction equipment giant XCMG launched a demolition robot at Bauma China.

The PCR300 is a 2-tonne unit with 400 J of impact power and, claimed the OEM, will have the same demolition power as a 6t excavator.

The unit will operate with shovels, breaker hammers, stone grabbers and hydraulic shears, and is available with an optional thermal protection package for use in high temperature environments.

Maximum drill rod diameter is 65 mm and the maximum operating radius is 4810 mm.
