Yanmar Compact Equipment has entered the US compact track loader segment with the launch of four new models, now available through its dealer network across North America.

The new machines represent an expansion of Yanmar’s line of compact equipment, targeting users across construction, landscaping, utility and rental markets.

The four models are:

  • The TL65RS-1C, which has an operating weight of 8,575 lbs (3,890kg), 67 horsepower, and a rated operating capacity (ROC) of 2,100 lbs (953kg).
  • The TL75VS-1C, which weighs 9,205 lbs (4,176kg), delivers 71.5 horsepower, and offers a ROC of 2,555 lbs (1,159kg).
  • The TL80VS-1C, weighing 9,610 lbs (4,360kg) with an ROC of 2,900 lbs (1,315kg).
  • At the top of the range is the TL100VS, with 103.5 horsepower, an operating weight of 10,555 lbs (4,790kg) and a ROC of 3,780 lbs (1,714kg).

The track loaders join Yanmar’s existing compact equipment line in North America, which includes mini excavators, compact wheel loaders and tracked carriers. Their launch follows a 50% expansion in production capacity at the company’s Grand Rapids, Minnesota facility.

The 32,000 sq ft factory expansion has allowed for a new powder coating paint system, extended assembly line, laser cutting tools, and robotic welding.

Yanmar Compact Equipment North America president Anna Christine Sgro described the launch as a key step in the company’s strategy to become a global leader in the compact segment.

She said, “This full range of equipment is built on trust developed over Yanmar’s 100 years as a company, 55 of those in compact equipment.

“Our dealers, customers and partners rely on us to deliver machines that are not only dependable but also help them grow their businesses. It’s part of our mission to continue building success and a richer experience for our stakeholders and customers.”
