Zeppelin Group expands MAN engine distribution
09 June 2025
Zeppelin Group announced that it has started the integration and transformation phase following its successful acquisition of Pepp Group BV. One of the acquired companies within the Pepp Group is MAN Rollo BV, an importer of the MAN brand and supplier and servicer of diesel and gas engines for the industrial and maritime sectors since 1922.
With the approval of the antitrust authorities, Zeppelin Group now takes over responsibility for the distribution, sales and service of MAN engines for the Netherlands and nine additional European countries with immediate effect.
“With the integration of the Pepp Group BV and the respective companies, Zeppelin is further diversifying its market position. With MAN Rollo as a supplier of MAN engines, energy systems, parts and services, we can enlarge our promise towards customers, employees and partners worldwide: we create solutions,” said Matthias Benz, CEO, Zeppelin Group.
The Pepp Group acquisition is the largest deal in Zeppelin Group history, involving 22 Pepp Group companies across Norway, the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Nigeria. The companies encompass a portfolio of new and used machines, drive and energy systems, servicing and spare parts, as well as solutions for equipment rental and associated services. The acquisition adds approximately 2,000 employees – for a total of more than 12,000 globally – and €1.1 billion in revenue to the Group.
According to Zeppelin Group, the focus of the integration and transformation process will be on a more international orientation, a greater customer focus and a future-proof portfolio. As part of the process, the Group has been organized into four strategic business units: Construction Equipment, Rental, Power Systems and Plant Engineering.
A central “Post-Merger Integration (PMI) & Transformation Office” has also been set up to manage the integration and transformation in a targeted and effective manner, Zeppelin Group added.
