Zoomlion has entered the global access equipment markets, launching a range of new products, according to KHL’s Access International. The official launch of the company’s access division was held recently at a new factory in Changsha, China.

The equipment includes scissor lifts, telescopic and articulated booms. Details on specific models, engines and other components are not yet available.

The new factory, located in Wangcheng District, Changhsa, Hunan Province, has five automated production lines, including 27 welding robots and nine sets of automated guided vehicles (AGV). The annual production capacity for scissor lifts is targeted for 12,000 units.

Zoomlion has five R&D centers located in its overseas territories, including one for access in the USA. The company says, thanks to its advanced technology, financial support and its domestic and overseas sales force, the sales target for 2019 is 6000 units, amounting to about RMB500million (US$72 million) in revenue.
