According to a press release from the OEM, “This development is a significant step in the company’s efforts to align with India’s evolving emission standards while delivering cutting-edge, reliable, and efficient construction equipment.”

The equipment that Case manufacturers at the facility includes two new vibratory compactors — the 952 NX and 450 NX — along with the enhanced 1107 NX vibratory compactor. The refreshed portfolio also features loader backhoe models such as the 770 NX, 770 NX Magnum, and 851 NX.

The backhoe loaders and 1107 NX compactor are equipped with an FPT F28 engine that complies with the latest emission norms, offering reduced environmental impact, improved fuel efficiency, and higher productivity

India is fast emerging as a pivotal force in the global construction ecosystem as a manufacturing and innovation powerhouse,” said Emre Karazli, Vice President Construction Segment, APAC & AME.

“With the rollout of BS (CEV) Stage V-compliant equipment from our Pithampur facility, we are bringing globally benchmarked, sustainable technologies to India while reinforcing our global supply chain.”

The OEM added that the Stage V-compliant equipment was previously manufactured for international markets, but will now also be available for the domestic market.

Due to Indian government regulations, Stage V CEV standards came into effect on 1 January 2025 for construction equipment vehicles. Stage V TREM standards will apply from 1 April 2026.
