Cummins engines power Ukraine buses
31 July 2025

Cummins announced it has supplied 85 engines to Anadolu Isuzu, a Turkish commercial vehicle manufacturer, for integration into its Citiport 12-meter low-floor buses destined for Kyiv, Ukraine. The 6.7 L ISB6.7 inline-six, turbocharged diesel engines were rated 221 kW (300 hp).
The buses will be supplied to bus operator Kyivpastrans, which serves more than 1.5 million passengers per day and is reported to have the largest municipal bus fleet in Ukraine. According to Anadolu Isuzu, the Citiport buses offer high passenger capacity, reliability and lower emissions than previous equivalent generations.

Cummins also announced it has recently secured an order to supply 70 Euro VI L9 engines for Citiport 18-meter buses for Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). This is the largest order of 18-meter Citiport buses that Anadolu Isuzu has received.
The relationship between Cummins and Anadolu Isuzu dates back to 2013, with Cummins supporting the OEM in its domestic market and internationally with B6.7, B4.5, L9 and L9N engines.
“Our relationship with this customer continues to grow and we are increasing our volumes year on year,” said Cenk Yavuz, director for Cummins Europe Bus Business. “These projects demonstrate Anadolu Isuzu’s strength in international markets, and we are looking forward to supporting them with Cummins power for new projects across even more countries in the future.”
