UK-based GGR Group have launched its new 42 tonne lifting capacity GF420 pick and carry crane.

Powered electrically, it comes with a 1,395 amp battery for continuous operation.

GGR said that due to its narrow 2,090 mm chassis and maximum lifting height of 13.8 metres, this all-electric heavy lifting machine has a small working footprint and is ideal for situations where there may be limited workspace.

In addition to having a 180 degree rear wheel drive system for improved control and manoeuvrability, the GF420 pick and carry crane comes with an extendable chassis to achieve the maximum 42 tonnes lifting power; the counterweights can also be removed (capacity reduces).

Camera system

GGR said that safety is paramount on the GF420 as it comes complete with reversing cameras and a fully integrated SLI system.

The company said that the crane can be used for a variety of projects in industrial settings, factories, substations, civil works, ULEZ compliance, and clean air areas.

“This unique crane helps customers lower their carbon footprint without sacrificing operational effectiveness or lifting capability,” said GGR Group.
