New Himoinsa Facilities in Poland

Premium Content

19 June 2019

Himoinsa has opened new facilities in Warsaw, Poland. Himoinsa set up its first subsidiary in Poland in 2003 and 16 years later it has now opened its new 108,000 sq. ft. (10,000 m2) facilities which will allow it to expand its warehouse area, to guarantee a greater stock of generator sets and lighting towers which in turn will allow it to respond even more quickly to the market, the company said.

The new facility will also have an aftermarket space, a mechanical workshop for equipment repairs and a spare parts sales outlet. New offices cover over 7500 sq. ft. (700 m2) and also house the training room and the customer service area.  Generator set models designed for the local market will be featured in a 10,750 sq. ft. (1000 m2) showroom.

Although the construction, rental and agriculture sectors have always been important for Himoinsa in Poland, the company is currently developing projects with high power (>500 kVA) standby generator sets for the food industry and for data center projects.

“We are discovering new growth opportunities in Poland and in its neighboring countries,” said Guillermo Elum, EMEA regional director, who added that new developments the company is working on for standby applications will enable it to offer products in the power generation market where the standby segment represents around 80% of the market.

The opening was celebrated with an event that was attended by its main distribution companies in Poland, Ukraine, Belarus and the Baltic States, as well as rental companies whose fleets include Himoinsa generator sets and lighting towers.
