Nominations officially open for Power Progress Summit Awards

Featuring the theme “Developments in Digitization & Decarbonization, the 2024 Power Progress Summit will be held Oct. 1-2 at the Voco Chicago Downtown Hotel in Chicago, Ill.

In its sixth year, the Power Progress Summit (formerly Diesel Progress Summit) is a unique two-day conference and awards program for the engine and powertrain technology industry. It covers the technologies used in construction, agriculture, mining, forestry, and marine, as well as on-highway commercial vehicles.

This year’s theme adds discussions related to automation and autonomy, connectivity, artificial intelligence and more in relation to their role in accelerating strategies to deliver more efficient and lower/zero-carbon solutions. In addition, the summit is partnering with the Off-Highway Conference, presented by Off-Highway Research, to share key market updates and how alternative energy solutions will factor into them.

The Power Progress Summit Awards are a further highlight of the summit, with the awards presented at a networking dinner at the end of the first day of the program. Nominations for the annual awards program are now open and will be accepted through July 1, 2024. Award categories for 2024 include:

• Engine Technology of the Year
• Powertrain Product of the Year
• Fluid Power Technology of the Year
• Control System/Monitoring Solution of the Year
• Off-highway Product Application of the Year
• On-highway Product Application of the Year
• Power Generation Product Application of the Year
• Electrification Technology of the Year
• Engine Distributor of the Year – North America
• Engine Distributor of the Year – International
• Product Development Team of the Year

A final award, the Achievement of the Year, is a “best of the best” selected from the category winners.

Companies can nominate themselves or their own products or be nominated by customers or suppliers. All nominations will be reviewed and selected by a panel of judges that will be announced shortly.

The Power Progress Summit Awards presentation dinner will cap off the first full day of presentations, discussions and networking concerning new powertrain and power systems products.
