SAIM to present new hybrid and range-extender solutions at EIMA 2026
05 October 2026
At the EIMA International agricultural machinery show in 2024, SAIM presented its first all-new Hybrid Integrated Solutions HIS-13D 11K-SAE diesel-electric hybrid powertrain.
Following on from that first example of hybridization, the company is now planning to deliver its follow up at the upcoming EIMA 2026, to held in Bologna, Italy from November 10-14.

Expected on the company stand in Bologna is the HIS-23V33T-SAE which combines a 3.31-liter four-cylinder Kubota V3307-CR-T turbodiesel engine producing 55.4 kW with a 48 V electric motor which delivers 10 kW (continuous) and up to 23 kW (peak) for a maximum 75 kW output.
Because of the electric motor, SAIM says that the hybrid system does not need an SCR/urea dosing system to reduce emissions.
SAIM is also set to present two new range extender powertrains, which use an onboard engine to power a generator which recharges battery packs for the electric drive.
The first of these is the RE-D9K-SAE, which combines an 18.5 kW Kubota D902-K with a 15 kW generator. The second is the RE-V26-SAE, which brings together a 55 kW engine with a 40 kW DC generator.
Each of these is intended to extend the working hours of otherwise battery-electric agricultural or construction machinery.
