Briggs & Stratton has announced a new partnership with JEM Technical (JEM), a manufacturer of integrated custom hydraulic valve assemblies and components and a full system integrator of electronic solutions. The partnership will see JEM utilizing the Vanguard Commercial lithium-ion battery packs in its customized engineering solutions for original equipment manufacturer customers.
“We’re always thrilled to find reputable and reliable companies like JEM Technical to partner with and supply with quality products,” said Chris Davison, Briggs & Stratton senior marketing manager, commercial power. “We look forward to collaborating with JEM and seeing how they utilize our battery lineup to create new, customized solutions for OEMs of mobile and stationary equipment.”
Headquartered in Orono, Minn., JEM is a fluid power systems integrator for OEMs, distributors and end users in a broad range of industrial applications, supplying engineered valves, manifolds and electronics controls.
“We pride ourselves on being able to offer products, systems and services that improve our customers’ machine technology from a productivity, usability and efficiency perspective,” said Andrew DeRung, JEM Technical director of sales and marketing. “We’re excited to leverage Vanguard battery packs in our electronic control solutions — they set the industry standard.”
Both the hydraulic and electronic products JEM provides to the market are highly engineered and customized to individual OEM needs. The company’s electronic component selection, software development and custom wiring harness design will be enhanced by Vanguard’s Commercial battery line, which incorporates 3.8, 5 and 10 kWh power options.
