As with the hubs in Paris and London, these centers offer a number of recharging stations for Volta Zero trucks, light commercial vehicles and passenger cars.

According to Casper Norden, chief Fleet Solutions officer di Volta Trucks, the two new hubs are key for the Truck as Service (TaaS) project to support Volta Trucks customers and partners with the transition to a full electric fleet. Norden said that TaaS offers a number of services in one package, which helps with total cost of ownership and with keeping competitive operational times for each vehicle.

Volta Trucks recently reported 300 confirmed orders of its 16-tonne Volta Zero full-electric truck for delivery in 2023. The first of these trucks are expected to be delivered to customers from the contract manufacturing plant in Steyr, Austria, in the early second quarter 2023.
