VulKan Drive Tech Adds High-Temperature Coupling

Vulkan Drive Tech, a manufacturer of heavy duty industry couplings, presents a new high-temperature Vulastik L coupling with RS compound designed for heavy duty and high-temperature applications.
The new compound is designed to withstand temperatures up to 150°C – which exceeds all common natural and synthetic rubbers currently available in the market, the company said. In addition, overall performance was greatly improved, allowing Vulkan to increase the permissible torque ratings by 100% compared former high temperature solutions. The Vulastik L is designed where a special demand for a resilient solution is necessary, such as in railway, and the oil and gas industry.
